Today we will start with a very brief and concise history reminder. Our ancient brothers and sisters, many millions of years ago, resided on this Earth surviving on plants, different types of nuts and seeds. There was a lesser abundance of plants and nuts meaning our ancestors were forced to try different kinds of food too. Our anatomy had changed so we could digest meat and by then, we had developed new skills to create our own tools for safety and protection. This is a marking point in the history of humanity.
Ever since we started to consume meat our relationship with our environment changed, as well as the entire food chain. We too became predators. It all started with small game, hunting animals of smaller size. Of course, larger predators still came after us but at least we had the tools and knowledge to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Over time, when we became more confident we started hunting in larger groups, consequently being able to take on larger predators. Slowly but surely we started to conquer the lands.
Now that millions of years have passed, we don’t need to hunt anymore. We can go to the supermarket and buy anything we need. Nevertheless, hunting is still in our nature. Hunting is woven into our system so it comes to no surprise that hunting is such a popular and prestigious sport all around the world.
