Feliz Día del Trabajador, Happy International Worker’s Day! Today is a day we celebrate a day off in Spain basically. Here in Andalucía most people take the day to go for a hike in the mountains. Others take advantage of the great weather and meet up with friends and family at a local chiringuito. Others, how difficult they may find it, they can’t sit still and are beautiful day dreamers! If you identify with the latter and can’t wait to get started on a cheeky reform project, then perhaps keep reading. This one is for you!

The Reform Project of your Dreams

In celebrating this joyous day on May 1st, I want to present our most special reform project that we have in the books. Yes, yes, yes. I can already imagine your thoughts: Why present a gigantic reform project on the day we celebrate “not” having to work? And the answer is simple. I know you better than you think! Rather than doing absolutely nothing, such as drinking lemonade in the sun, or falling asleep by the pool, or going for a little walk on the boulevard, you prefer to challenge yourself!

The activity that you decide to undertake in your free time is finally getting started on that project that you have wanted to do for so long! For example, you finally start working on your bathroom, or you finally sit down to design your new kitchen. You go out to buy paint to renovate your bedroom! You go couch searching at different stores to find the perfect match! Am I right, or am I right? Now, if you are one of the many that like to take on projects in your free time, how about this beautiful historic hacienda in Sevilla? This will be the project of your dreams no doubt.

Hacienda in Seville

This mesmerising and historic hacienda in Seville dates back to the XVI Century. Locally it is very well known and even catalogued in many magazines and books. It comes with an extensive olive grove and naturally, its own olive mill. The hacienda lies just about 100km outside of Sevilla city. The history books say that the monks of the Order of San Basilio were fanatic farmers. They planted the land around Las Navas de la Concepción with vineyards and olive farms. El Lagar, the name of this Hacienda, and your new reform project, is one of the oldest buildings in that area!

What you may know by now is that, building on rustic land in Andalucía is tricky business. However, here you can get started right away! The current owner has approved plans already. And do you know what this means? This means that with an approved project, you can create the reform project of your dreams!
