As mentioned in earlier blogs, the villa area La Celima in the mountains near Casares is a hidden gem, not easy to find elsewhere on the Andalusian countryside and yet so close to the coast and the beaches. The last half year several villas with stunning sea views have been sold in this area and the demand continues!
The press has been raving about the recovery of the Spanish property market during the last half year. Sales have increased over 12% in the second quarter of 2014 and keep rising according to several sources. The market has bottomed out and prices in some areas are going up again. This is definitely what we’ve noticed in our area of country properties in Andalusia in general. Looking specifically at the gem ‘La Celima’ there has been a run on villas with top sea views in all price ranges.
