January 2015 hasn’t given Villas & Fincas a period of rest. Enquiries on country properties keep coming in and the web scores twice as many visitors as the year before. We see are large variety of clients, from different nationalities, who want to fulfil the dream to live a better life in Andalusia.
A few interesting trends we would like to point out. Our clients are definitely looking for better quality of life! They are not only in the search for the sun and a life outdoors, no, they want to add something more! Living on the countryside gives them the possibility to grow their own vegetables for example or to keep chickens and have fresh eggs every morning. The trend to live a healthier life is what brings many clients to our office. More and more young families want to give this healthy base to their children. They want to connect with nature again and to breathe in fresh air every morning.
Another interesting development is the search for large olive farms and vineyards. Marketeers from Northern Europe, the USA and also Asia see the business opportunities in Andalusia. Their dream is to convert old olive groves into specialized ecological farms and market the produce to specific markets under their own label. A formula that has been proven valid in many ocassions already! The old cortijos are converted into comfortable holiday homes where the investors can enjoy their holidays whilst keeping an eye on the farm.
