We’re not done with sports just yet. Sotogrande has a fantastic port with tremendous sailing boats and yachts, there are also a few stations with jet skis. All year round, whenever the sun shines, the marina fills with joyful sailing boats that cruise the Mediterranean Sea. Many companies organise trips along the coast, you can go dolphin watching and even cross the sea to our neighbour continent! You can spend the weekend, or a week around Ceuta and Morocco. During the summers, regatas are held around Sotogrande too.

Sotogrande has an ideal location since it is a beautiful, luxury urbanisation by the sea. Furthermore, Malaga is only 1 hour away and it is 30 minutes from Gibraltar airport. The National Highway 340 is right at your doorstep. This highway is your connection to any national destination.
Where to eat in Sotogrande?
Sotogrande offers a wide variety of restaurants and bars. You can enjoy traditional Spanish food as well as a wide variety of international food. Think of the best sushi, the best Peruvian cuisine, the best Italian, the best brunch cafe! If you want to dine or have lunch outside of Sotogrande port, you can visit Torreguadiaro, which is a 4 minute drive away. Fantastic tapa restaurants have opened here. The bottom line is, you will always find a place where you can enjoy a tasty meal.
Just to name a few restaurants in and around Sotogrande, you can visit Don Diego, the Ke bar, Hairy Lemon, Pura Tapa. For something a little more low key, but truly delicious you should go to Moncayo in Pueblo Nuevo, where they have great Spanish food and a terrific sushi chef! If you want Italian or empanadas, Pizzeria Osteria del Borgo is the place to be!
What to do in Sotogrande?
Sotogrande offers a wide variety of sports and leisure activities. You can play and or watch polo. The polo games during summer are a fun activity to attend! Golfing and sailing of course. There are also numerous horse riding schools. Sotogrande is perfect for a long day at the beach or spending the day at one of the many luxury and exclusive beach clubs. A quick drink at Gigi’s Beach Club or Chambao beach club are always great ideas.
Especially during summer, Sotogrande has a very vibrant and lively nightlife! In the marina they organise markets from afternoon until evening. Many chiringuitos, beach clubs, turn into fun dance events at night! Many venues have opened over the years that are incredibly successful. El Trocadero, Cortijo los Canos, Ágora, Bahía Limón and After Polo are a few of these examples.
It is also important to visit the Marina, classed as the small Venice, urbanizations surrounded by water through rain channels that allow residents to have a boat on their doorstep, the dream of many people.
