Just about 30 minutes away from Málaga, you are far enough inland to feel the privacy and the calm rustic lifestyle, but you are still close enough to the airport, or if you feel like escaping to the city one day to see the latest exhibition in eg. Hundreds of years ago this Cortijo was a barn, a farm, with a completely different layout than what it has today. The property has been adapted depending on what was necessary. Since the area is fantastic to keep horses, there must have been stables! In fact, they were located where the bodega is today. The bodega connects to the dining room, which back in the day was the bard with food storage. The living room was just the front patio where the animals could go outside.
