Many of the old features of the cortijo are preserved in the restauration. The beamed ceilings, antique doors and terracota tiled floors ooze history. As does the old grain circle (era) on the finca. What used to be a working farm over 50 years ago, has been in use as a private home since then and forms a splendid setting for events. The old storage rooms, barns on the ground floor have been converted into bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The old stable is now the kitchen with annex bodega. The first floor, which was partly storage is now converted into the private rooms of the owners and an extra bedroom for guests. The walled area where you find the pool these days, was in the old days the area where the animals were gathered to spend the night. The property is easily accessed from the main road by a short gravel road. Ample parking under the trees. A majestic staircase guides you to the entrance of the cortijo. From this front terrace you have spectacular view of the mountains and on a clear day you can see the sea and Málaga city in the distance. From this terrace you access the semi-professional kitchen with a breakfast area and terrace. This room continues to an open lounge with 5.3-meter high ceilings that opens onto a covered terrace adorned with lush bougainvillaea and steps up lead to a large dining area with seating for 24, which connects to the courtyard.
