The old cortijo is completely renovated, respecting the original Andalusian details. The main residential area is build around a traditional courtyard. There is a 5-bedroom main Cortijo (321m2), two 2-bedroom guest houses (total 220m2), a 4-bedroom staff house (100m2) and covered parking of app. 80m2. Next to the residential area there is over 600m2 build size areas for farm and storage use under which a large barn, 5 boxes, foaling stable, machine room and storage.
Easy access from the main road. A private drive leads to the traditional courtyard with ample parking and a majestic carob tree in the center. The farmhouse is completely renovated, maintaining the Andalusian charm which is seen in the wooden doors, the high beamed ceiling, terracotta floors and traditional tiles in bathrooms.
A large antique wooden door opens to the spacious entrance hall of the main cortijo. From here you have direct access to a large living room with fire place and high beamed ceiling. The living room connects with a separate dining, and fully fitted kitchen. French window doors open up to an ample covered terrace for outdoor dining and lounging. The views over the surrounding landscape are breath-taking. The sloping fields where the horses used to graze and the mountains provide you with absolute privacy, peace and tranquillity. The kitchen has a direct access from the outside as well. Here you will also find the machine room and the laundry room. The entrance hall distributes to 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Stairs to the first floor lead to the master bedroom with bathroom en suite.
From the terrace, steps down lead to the lovely pool area with ample sunbathing terraces. The pool measures 12×4,5m. The trees surrounding the pool provide sufficient shade on sunny days. The pool has also direct access through an archway from the courtyard for guests.
The two guesthouses are separate from the main house in one of the wings on the courtyards. They are fully fitted, each with 2 double bedrooms that share a bathroom and an open living with fully fitted kitchen. Annex to these is a large events room with toilet. It could be a games room, gym, cinema or simply be used as it is now for gatherings with family and friends. It is connected with a lovely terrace, overlooking the grounds. This finca or equestrian property was used as a horse breeding farm and had 80 horses grazing in the fields. The farm part of this unique country property in Spain is just as well maintained as the Cortijo. There is a large barn (224m2) to store the farm’s machinery and hay, there are 5 horse boxes (50m2), two more stables in the field, one of 95m2 an the other of 25m2, a chicken pen and further up in the finca 3 covered animal shelters, one large one of 130m2 and two smaller one of 30m2 and 20m2.
The land is very suitable to keep horses and can even produce a lot of the animal feed to maintain the horses. There is an old arena or sand school of 40×20m. This has not been used in many years and needs to be re-established. On the finca itself are many trails to discover on horse back. There is also an access gate into the natural Park. Riding is an absolute delight in this area. There are old cattle trails in Andalusia that still connect this area with Ronda, Seville, or wherever you would like to ride. An adventure! The 60 hectares of arable land used to be seeded for forage. Now they have a mixture of crops (peas, oats, wheat) which produce approximately 3000 bales of hay and 20.000-40.000kg of cereals. The 6 hectare olive grove has olives of the variety Hojiblanca. They are app. 15 years old and produce ca. 20.000kg of olives (4.000kg of oil). There is a grant of approximately 15.000€ a year, which goes to the party that actually works the land. Furthermore the Carob trees produce around 1.500kg of carobs.
The finca is fully fenced and could be part of the hunting grounds of several fincas together. 40-60 hectares of mountain land could be used for that. Wild boar, deer, and mountain goats are all entering the finca. Connected to mains electricity, WIFI, has its own water supply by means of a spring and a stream that crosses the land.
