With the hunting season on our doorstep it is time to feature one of our newest listings: A unique hunting and sporting estate in Spain. Unlike many others this unique property is so well located that it serves many more purposes than only hunting! From the property you arrive at the pristine beaches of Huelva within just 30 minutes, as well as the spectacular golf courses. With these facilities so nearby the estate becomes so much more versatile and serves the needs for a family and friends all year round. Have you thought about buying a sporting estate in Spain with the family? This is your chance!
This 940 hectare hunting estate is fully fenced to obtain a controlled population of deer and wild boar. A unique characteristic of this finca is also the population of red partridge. This is one of the few hunting fincas in Southern Spain, Andalusia, where you can shoot the wild red partridge. The finca is very accesible for hunters. Kilometre long trails bring you up into the hills, where the deer tend to hide. The trails continue down to the meadows, where the deer come to graze. The current owner doesn’t seed the fields, nor the ‘dehesa’. He claims that with the natural growth of grass there is sufficient animal feed for the current population. Only in the peak of summer it is needed to supply feed for the animals. There are over 30 natural water points that provide water for the animals all year round.
Hunting, horse riding, and more
The trails over the finca can also be used to explore the finca on horseback, or on a quad. Beautiful tracks lead all the way to the river, which bounds the finca. There are some beautiful picnic spots here. If you are thinking of cruising along the Guadiana river with a private boat, then this is the place! The main residence and the guest house are well set up to invite friends and family to enjoy the pleasures of your finca. And of course there is accommodation for the ‘guarda’ too. He/she keeps an eye out on the property when you’re not there.
As stated before, this hunting and sporting estate in Spain is unique in the sense that you can combine it with coastal and beach activities. The beautiful beaches Playa Isla Canela and playa isla Cristina with their beach bars are at a 30 minute drive away. So it is fairly easy to combine the country estate life, with a luxury and lazy day at the beach. Or, if you are into some action, you can rent boats and jet-ski’s. Huelva is great if you want to learn how to kite-surf. For further activities on your doorstep, you mustn’t forget the great golf courses of Isla Canela, or on the coast in Islantilla and el Rompido At 1.5 driving distance, you find the luxury Portuguese courses and resorts as Quinto do Lago and Vale de Lobo.
The lively village Ayamonte, on the border between Spain and Portugal, has a very nice ambiance all year round. A special note we would like to make on the fabulous restaurant here, LPA The Culinarybar. What a treat! We advise to reserve in advance, even off-season it it almost always fully booked.
